As some of you may know, UFLAC member Matt Bortel who is an engineer at 35s, has a 2-year old daughter named Remi who is going through chemotherapy treatment for cancer. The unfortunate reality is, far too many of our LAFD families have been directly impacted by cancer in our lives. Time after time, we step up for our brothers and sisters in need. Today, we need to step up for Engineer Bortel and his family.
